Movie

All right so, Wall-E this is a must see movie, surprise ending!! If you have younger kids or if your a kid at heart, go go go to see this. Funny yet exciting in places, sometimes you wanted to cry! But over-all a wonderful movie. For a G rating it was great.
So make it something to do for the weekend, family event.

Movie Time

Hey!! We're off to see a movie!!!! I, personally, can't wait.
I think I might drive David & Deanna nuts. As this is a fun movie. I think David told me WALL-E is an awesome movie, at least according to RottenTomatoes.com Just click on the little Wall-E and it will show you. I think it said 96 or 97 %. Ahh I just double checked, 96%. I am still very excited to go see it, I can't set still.


Oh Hey all of you should try this new Smiley collection, We just got some new smileys,
however they don't quite work on blogger yet, However, David is on the case!
Where or where would we be without our David? I pray we will never know. I do know that we will never know. To you David
Oh yes I forgot we did watch a movie last night, here at home. It was called Sweeny Todd.
Little icky if you ask me, but most people like that stuff. It's a musical, I couldn't believe it, but there it was, a gory musical. It was pretty good with a surprise ending, so if you want to rent it, it is at least worth watching, not for little kids, but for adults and teens, it's fine.
So for now it's off again. and onto the movies. I will re visit again and let you know about the movie Wall-E.

Smileys

Let me mention that when someone loves you, the way David loves me, they will do anything for you. He must have spent 2 hours or so, between laptops, and our big pc, trying to install some new smileys for me.
They do so much!!!
It seems that I can put these anywhere! In e-mails or on "my space" or well like I said anywhere.
I personally could not have done this. When it comes to the computer I'm blind as a bat.
I just look at David and say please. He is a very wonderful man.

So next on our lives, We got to use our new deck!!!
We had a cook out on Saturday with Deanna & her boyfriend
Hamburgers & Hot dogs, from our infamous butcher shop! and chips & such, of course, who has a BBQ outside and doesn't have chips??? No one should. Anyway we did have a very nice time. The weather was just perfect & best of all No bugs!!

Lets see what else happened?? O Yes, now I remember, David & Deanna did, what they call, an Impulse buy!! (which is something they do a lot)
She blames him he blames heras they try to explain it to me
Ah no biggie! So anyway they brought home, "Super Soakers" They thought I would get mad, I just rolled my eyes and later got them wet instead. Well Deanna & her boyfriend anyway.

Then Monday rolled around and it's back to work We'll get through it, we're tough But the weekend goes so very fast.
So now we're back to the old grindstone, David at his job and myself at mine. Take care to our on lookers remember to let us know when you stop & visit. Leave comments or just say hello.

Busy Busy Busy

Well It's been about a week, and the other 2 ferrets went to the vet this past wed. That was fun, Midnight was literally an angel, she didn't bite or fidget at all, the vet was amazed, and said that she couldn't be a ferret, well then he examined Josie.

She was nothing like her sister. She was biting, and scratching, and when they took her temperature, guess what?, she truly did not like that. They couldn't get her temperature as well you guessed it she pushed it out, and decided to go to the bathroom right then and there. She surprised all of us! And me I just sat there apologizing for the ferret. wow!!!

How many people do that??? I'm learning! If there are people out there that do this, for the first time, I am now one of you.

Other than this our ferrets are growing up healthy, we have not figured out which one is going to be the "Alpha" yet. Seems to still be up for grabs. So we shall keep you posted on their progress.

Soon we shall be barbecuing on our "New" back deck, the old one was smashed up by this past wonderful winter weather we had out here in our neck of the woods., However we are looking forward to evenings of stars and relaxation. We can't wait!!

So for now this is another blog, with no smiley's! Maybe I'll insert those later, right now it's time to spend mother daughter time with my youngest.

Ferrets First Bath

I'm sure in a few years we'll look back at laugh at this . Ferrets do not like to be bathed. However if you hold or pinch them by the scruff of the neck they will fall asleep.
This does not hurt them in any way. Now what we learned today is that ferrets that only weigh 1 pound a piece don't fall asleep. Sometimes they yawn but never actually fall asleep.

Now I don't know how many of you have bathed a ferret before, but they have very very very sharp little claws, and they feel like little razor blades. Ouch!!

So Josie was the first to get a "bath" she didn't fall asleep, not even a yawn. So we gave her a bath, and while we were rinsing her off what do you think she did???? Can you guess?
Well your not gonna believe it, well maybe you will, your right she went to the bathroom in my sink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear David saying Uh Oh, and Deanna saying ewww. Meanwhile I'm the one rinsing the soap off and using my bare hands.. (who do you think should have been saying ewww?!)

Next came Midnight, she was easier, she seems more docile than the others, but don't let her fool ya. She is a scrapper for sure.
She did fine with her bath, almost got David a couple of times but it was all good.
Next was Crystal our older ferret, she will be 6 in January. She was easy. although she woke up too.
Well next was Angel the albino. She didn't fall asleep at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in fact just as I put the soap on her, she wiggled out of David's hands. We finally got her done.
All 4 ferrets, bathed and ready to go to bed.
Now to get them back to the cage. Which wasn't really hard at all.

that being done, we were ready to just relax for a minute, as this was also the first day they were introduced to the whole house, this is another blog for another day..What????

It's the weekend

Well I don't think were getting anything done this weekend.

Have any of you seen the weather for our area? My god it's only noon and Jiminy crickets it's already 91!! (Holy cow)

I do believe I will be taking a cool bath. today. Of course I might have to just Take a shower instead. But that's ok, either way will keep me cool. Of course then we have the AC so it's all good.

So in the minutes it took for me to type this and put in the animated creatures it has climed 2 degrees for a high right now of 93 I think we are staying indoors today.

We are having lunch with our friends today, that will be fun, they have 2 children, and the little girl has daddy wrapped around her finger. I'm sure that most Little girls do that to their daddy.
All we have to do is say "Daddy can I" and usually it's done. Daddys will do anything for their little girls.

So after eating we're off to the movies. "Kung Fu Panda" Sometimes it's just nice to watch something fun. We might be bored , but we'll be together as a family and that's what counts.

part 2... "What were we thinking"

Today was the first, of many, visits to the vet. These guys look all innocent. sitting in their cage just playing. And then BANG!!! They do not like shots. I think they look like this, for a moment.

What I learned today is that our Newborns are just like baby , they nip and bite, they just don't purr, they make a sound like, well it sounds like they are saying "took took" it is very cute.

Crystal, the 5 and 1/2 year old, has taken those 3 kits on as her own, she is now constantly cleaning them, Like she is their mother, they get tired and the next thing you know they are all getting sleepy, they look like this . They soon fall fast asleep in their hammock all snuggled together , all 4 of them.

So for now we're going to turn out the lights and say good night.

WHAT Were We Thinking??????

OMG !!! All we did was go to the mall....

I don't know what happened.. There we were looking at the pets, having a nice time and the next thing I know we were holding those "Evil Weasels"

Yup you guessed it, Little baby Ferrets. Wow now I don't know if any of you have had Ferrets before, I've only been used to the ones that David & I have. A while ago we had to put 2 of them down because of old age, they lived 7 years, that's pretty awesome for a ferret, So we only had one left, Her name is Crystal, She is pure white with one black and one red eye.. Not quite an Albino. Well Like I was saying we went to the mall, just to window shop they told me, HAA, They Lied to me, I swear it was an ambush!!

Deanna with her cute smile, saying "Awwwww" And David saying, "Well lets make sure they aren't ill tempered" then they made me hold one, Ya know they are the cutest things, and your heart just says Awww.

So We now have 3 new Additions to our family:

• Angel, whom is a pure albino
• Midnight, Whom is a Black Sable (she looks like a racoon), and
• Josie, Whom is a Brown sable.

They are all so adorable, They have introduced to Crystal, and of course Crystal has to dominate them, they are afraid of her still, but that's as it should be. I've never had "kits" before, They are very very cute, David says that's how they get ya!, They are demanding, and fun, and playful.

Each day will be such a new experience, I can't wait to post pictures on our website. Well We shall keep you posted on the New additions. Happy Reading !!!
